In the Garden

So here are some new Changeling concepts, still in Arcadia, during some free time.  They are hanging out in the garden, and the darkling on the right is helping the manikin in the middle get his arms back on...their Keeper has a habit of ripping them off when he is displeased.  My little levenquick on the left is trying to distract him from the pain and make him laugh.

The levenquick is Mercury, the robot is my brother's concept and is named Metropolis, and the darkling is my sister's concept and is named Tathea, at least for now.

This sort of illustrates how it is for someone who is kidnapped by the True Fae and brought into Arcadia--most of the True Fae are ruthless if not outright cruel, and their captives suffer abuse or even outright torture.  But it's such a normal thing that they can behave normally, even when one or more of them has been injured or hurt somehow.  They just deal with it as best they can.  It's like "Oh, our Keeper ripped off Metropolis's arm again?  It must be Tuesday."
