Day 6 - Tom Riddle

Day 6 of the character bonanza! [link] I absolutely loved the scenes from Voldemort's past--it's my favorite part of HBP, and nearly my favorite scenes in the whole books series. (And I was impressed with Hero Fiennes's [portrayal of the child Tom. He was one creepy kid!)

So here's Tom at a young age, perhaps nine or ten, realizing that not only do snakes approach him, seek him out--but that he can talk to them and understand their words.

This picture took me a lot longer than the others, mostly because Tom was NOT cooperating with me at all--figures. But finally I got the picture down more or less how I wanted it. His eyes aren't exactly right--his eyes are tough to get just right--but I was still happy with the picture.

Don't look too hard at the background. I admit my focus was entirely on Tom and his new friend, and not on the BG.
