It's the first annual Hogwarts Marble Championship, and the finalists are: Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody, and Colin "Thunderthumb" Creevey!
Lupin and Fred have just been eliminated by the two remaining champions. (Well, actually, Fred was disqualified for blowing up the marble ring with an exploding marble, but that's another story.) What's that you say?"Where's Mad-Eye's eye?" It's about to knock two of Creevey's marbles clean out of the ring.
This is an entry for a fan club contest; the rules specified at least one character who died in Deathly Hallows to be portrayed in a lighthearted or amusing way. And this is what popped into my head: Moody playing marbles. With his eye.
I always saw Mad-Eye as haveing a sort of twisted sense of humor; I think he would get a kick out of this...though atthe moment his look is of grim concentration. Why shouldn't he concentrate on this shot? It's important, you know, winning this championship. He'd never live it down of some shrimpy teenager beat him out of the marble finals.
And yes, those are the horrible work robes the Weasley twins came up with. Magenta. And I admit I borrowed "Thunderthumb" from a DuckTales episode. Huey Duck is a marble champion, too.
