This Ronin Warriors picture isn't based on anything in particular. I sketched it while watching the first few episodes of the series, then finished it on the computer.
Ryo is protecting Yuli from a barrage of energy, probably from Talpa. As for what's shielding the energy, I see a sort of force field generated by the power of the armor and Ryo himself. I was pleased with how this one came out, particularly the lighting and shadow. And I reiterate that armor is evil.  Comments GREAT!!! Very nicely done!!!
