Here is another scene from an RPG...not as dynamic or dramatic as the last one, but I was still very pleased with it.

Wormtail has been caught and sentenced to Azkaban...he's been there a few months by now, I figure it. He's sharing the last bit of his supper with one of his furry little friends...cute little guy, isn't he?

Wormtail has been miserable, upset, guilty, sorrowful, and scared...but right now he's just bored. Utterly and completely bored.

I considered putting a beard on him, but couldn't envision it. I figure that he's gotten some of the nicer guards to let him wash and shave every now and then so he's not too horribly wretched. (In the game, the dementors are already gone and they've hired wizards to guard it.)

Thanks! Ah but no one knew Sirius was an Animagus. In this story/RPG, Wormtail was known to be a rat Animagus, so they warded the cell against him getting out.

Thanks : ) This was a fun one to do...I like the character of Wormtail. I always wished he had the opportunity to finally redeem himself. So I am doing so in this RP. : ) Thanks for the fave!

True. There is more to him than we get to see, and I was sorry the books didn't develop the subject a bit more...
One interesting thing about Wormtail is that he isn't bad, an even used to be quite nice - but isn't brave. Most heroes in HP are brave, and it is like this quality is necessary to be a decent person, because being a coward makes you unreliable of course.
Yet there are very nice fearful persons in the world...
The problem is that their fear can be used against them (it's what happened with Wormtail). But then, Harry's bold personality was used against him too.
There is more to this than we got to see in the books, I think.
